Meet The Dentists
Dr. David M. DeCillis
DDS, MAGD · University of Maryland, 1983A 1983 graduate of the University of Maryland who has practiced general dentistry ever since. He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry — an honor that took more than 2,000 hours of coursework — and also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree completed before dental school.

Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) Award
Only 23 dentists in the nation were awarded this honor in 2024. Congratulations, Dr. DeCillis!
To receive the LLSR Award, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be an AGD Master in good standing at the time of application and when recognition is received. Mastership requires 1100 hours of continuing education.
- Earn at least 500 continuing education (ce) hours after receiving the mastership award, including 150 participation hours
- Earn CE hours in at least eight of the 17 recognized clinical subject areas
- Complete 100 hours of AGD-approved dental-related community or volunteer service, or service to organized dentistry
- Embrace the AGD's core principles and ideals
- Maintain a commitment to lifelong learning
